TENDER ENGINEER (ARRANGEMENT PLANNER)

Requirements:
· Posses a diploma or degree in civil/mechanical/electrical/chemical engineering or equivalent professional engineering qualification.
· Minimum 3 years working experience in power plant engineering/consulting/operation or related industries preferably in general layout planning, equipment arrangement planning and coordination of interfaces.
· Self motivated with a proactive attitude.
· Able to work in a teamwork environment with minimum supervision.
· Good communication skills.
· Good command of written and spoken English.
· Good AutoCAD drafting skill preferably in 3D-Design Tools (PDMS).
Job Description:
· Supporting the Tender Engineering Managers in tender project strategy and technical presentations.
· Coordination with ALSTOM Lead Centres, other functions, sub-suppliers, external partners during the tender process.
· Review Division of Work and scope documents.
· Provide optimized engineering solution regarding plant layout concepts and cost for the defined scope.
· Analysis of the Customer’s tender documentation to identify specific technical requirements, technical clarification/deviation and technical risks for defined scope.
· Preparation of general arrangement drawings, load plans, civil guide drawings and other supporting drawings.
· Provide scope completeness, technical integrity and cost for the defined scope.
· Preparation of tender technical documentation.
· Participate in technical negotiation with the Customer.
· Handover of successful projects to the execution team.
SENIOR ENGINEER
(ELECTRICAL TENDERING)

Requirements:

· Engineers with minimum five (5) years working experience in power plant engineering/consultancy. Candidates with additional years of relevant experience would be considered for Lead Engineer positions.
· “Hands-on” experience in the design of either Main cooling water system, fuel system, water supply & dosing systems and product engineering of equipment.

Job Description:
· Provide specialist support in the areas of water chemistry & treatment, conditioning of steam/water cycle and corrosion protection of power plant piping/components/material.
· Analysis of contractual raw water quality to ensure suitability as design water quality for main cooling water system, water pre-treatment and demineralization plants and other water systems.
· Conceptual design and basic engineering of raw water, chemical dosing and sampling systems and products.
· Ensure functionality of the piping/components/material of the equipment according to the tender/project requirements.
· Support the Process/Product /Tender Engineer in water chemistry & treatment to achieve the cost targets for the scope of supply and services for tenders and projects.
· Ensure on time delivery of specific engineering documentation according to tender/project requirements.
· Conduct Customer training on the operation and maintenance of the above systems and products.
· Site support during commissioning and operation of the power plant.
PROJECT ENGINEERING MANAGERS
(Engineering Department)
Requirements:
· Posses a degree in mechanical/chemical/electrical/civil engineering or equivalent professional engineering qualification.
· Engineers with minimum eight (8) years working experience in power plant engineering/consultancy.
· Have sound knowledge in water/steam cycle and good understanding of balance of plant, arrangement design, piping & valves, electrical, civil and construction engineering.

Job Description:
· Has overall technical leadership and enforces timely issuance of technical documentation for the project.
· Support the Project Director in defining strategies for Customer’s contract fulfillment and on all technical matters of the project.
· Manage the Take-over of the project engineering from the tender team.
· Manage the project engineering team that the design is according to the applicable design rules, codes & standards, local regulations and good engineering practices.
· Responsible for the Project Engineering budget including cost of subcontracted equipment and services.
· Responsible to optimize technical solutions, budgets and project schedule.
· Responsible for the control of Design Reviews and the Design Freeze schedules.
· Support site in all technical issues to the Customer or his representative.
LEAD ENGINEER

Requirements:
· Posses a degree in mechanical/chemical engineering or equivalent professional engineering qualification.
· Minimum five (5) years working experience in power plant engineering and design.
· At least three (3) “hands-on” experience in the power plant engineering and design either in water/steam cycle or mechanical balance of plant systems & equipment.

· Good coordination and interface management skills.
